The Washington State Office of Independent Investigations current operating budget is as follows:

OII submits a request to the Governor's office for the biennial operating and capital budgets.
Our requests support the agency's growth in opening in more regions of the state, aligning with its current priorities, and maintaining operational and performance goals.

Budget Reductions
On January 24, 2025, the state Office of Financial Management (OFM) directed all non-exempt state agencies to identify and submit spending reductions of at least 6% from the 2025-27 biennial appropriations.
These proposals have been reviewed by Governor Bob Ferguson who has provided his recommendations to the Legislature. To view OII's budget reduction proposal:
