The Office of Independent Investigations (OII) will begin actively investigating use of deadly force incidents beginning on Dec. 1, 2024, starting with Region 1 - West. 

Our mission at OII is to conduct fair, thorough, transparent, and competent investigations.

Our vision is that all investigations of police use of force will be free from bias and trusted by everyone.
