Staying Connected with Communities

The Community Liaison Program

OII is committed to transparency and staying connected with our communities and the people we serve. The OII Community Liaison program was created to prioritize and focus on meaningful conversations with the general public about OII's processes, policies, and procedures.

What to Expect from the Community Liaison

  • Focuses on being visible, approachable, and available for community groups, non-profits, and advocacy organizations.
  • Planning quarterly meetings to keep our communities informed.

Other Services

  • The community liaison helps identify, organize, and engage in community events and gatherings.
  • Works closely with the Tribal and Family Liaisons to ensure communities provide all possible information when impacted by a deadly use of force incident.

Want OII to host, or attend an event or meeting?
