Olympia, Wash – The Washington State Office of Independent Investigations (OII) has established a tip line as it continues to investigate a fatal officer-involved shooting that occurred in Vancouver, Wash.
Anyone who may have information regarding the incident is asked to call the OII Tip Line at 564-250-5811.
The Vancouver Police Department notified OII that at about 10:50 p.m. on Dec. 4, 2024, their officers contacted a man in the parking lot of the Safeway at 13719 SE Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver, Wash. Vancouver police reported that there was an altercation, an officer fired his weapon, and the man died as a result. Police reported that the man was armed with a firearm at the time.
