The Washington State Office of Independent Investigations (OII) received notification at 12:30 p.m. on March 16, 2026, from the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office that a use of deadly force incident occurred around 11:57 a.m. in the area of Cinebar, a community along SR508 near Onalaska, Lewis County.
The incident has resulted in a fatality. No law enforcement officers were injured.
OII will be investigating this incident. More information to follow.
